How would you make the most of your wedding?

How would you have your wedding when you walked down the aisle to get blessings from the God? What songs? the slow mo walk and song and spending thousands on it on that day?

I was reading a news and I found this very funny but the best ever wedding video I have watched so far. It's indeed the happiest and most memorable wedding the couple will ever forget and indeed us the audience. I love it straight away and can't stop watching it. It's such a clever & most wicked idea. Bless the couple...and you know that in just a few days since the video uploaded, there has already been 3 million people watching it. You should watch it too.

4 years ago today 20/05/2005 aka 2005 square is the day both of us are legally binded as husband and wife. I can’t believe it. It has been 4 years since. And we’ve been through a lot. I would be lying if I said we have never quarrel. Men are from Mars and women are from Venus. We came from different places have different characteristic, carries different genes and hardly shares the same hobby. Except that we love each other (although we hate each other when we have disputes), give our 100% love to AJ and trying our best to provide the best for the family.

Luv ya lots Hubby!!! You're second in my list - after AJ.

I love this month every year. Full of celebrations~~~~~ Weeeee....

I'm so beautiful

When I’m writing this post, I’m smiling from ear to ear. I’m superrrrrrrrrr happy today. Over the moon!!! I’ve been waiting for this moment to tell you guys. I didn’t realised today is the day until Alice nudged me. She just reaches home with lotsa of things, and they are................everyone...............my wedding albums & free gifts!!!!

She showed me over the webcam the albums. Both hubby and I were pleased with the outcome. Afterall, we’re shooting for the whole day and were forcing to give the sweetest smile reaching the end of the day.

I didn’t want to waste too much money on just wedding photos, so we took the normal package in less than MYR3000. It was a bargain. The package includes a 12” album of 20 photos, 10” album of 20 photos, big a main photo with frame to put in the master bedroom & few other bits. Can’t wait to hang this in our main bedroom when we have our very own home.

And oh oh oh, hubby said if everyday I'm that beautiful, he will listen to whatever I said wor....I should learn to make up to that standard eh?

I wish I could show you all of them but not here in this extremely public place. Please understand for privacy reasons.

Many many thanks to Alice for helping us in choosing a good package from a good studio. Really appreciate your effort, dear. Not forgetting also Ah Soon for getting my precious stuff from the studio today. While I’m still in UK, I’m leaving them to both your good hands.

***

As you’re aware, AJ has been unwell these past few days. Cough, cold, diarrhoea and low appetite. He has lost a lot of weight for repetitive loose stools. Poor little fella. We thought he caught this contagious virus from his day care. But we only found out that his sickness is partly due to teething. We found out his 8th tooth this morning. And believe it or not, it’s out of our expectation! I can’t show you in pictures yet, as its edge just came out and it’s invisible from a normal camera unless from an extremely good quality camera. Thanks to you, little tooth for our broken sleeps and endless worries.

No longer available

30th January 2009 - Fridaya sweet gift from Alice (bought 3 years ago =.=)

This is the day I couldn’t wish for more. It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity to be remembered till my last breath. In case you’re wondering what I was talking about (but I’m sure most of you already known) it’s Jimmy and my big day – THE WEDDING

It is the day we asked for blessings from our parents, grandparents, elders and ancestors.
- The day we proclaim to public that we’re no longer available.
- The day we introduce our prince, AJ to everyone.
- The day we make all of our family proud of us.

Actually we were legally bind since nearly 4 years ago. The wedding reception has been delayed until today due to financial, work and others commitments. Both Jimmy and I decided to take 3 weeks holiday after ages refraining ourselves from leaving the country. And so we confirmed with our family of our booked holiday and conveyed our wishes to accomplish one of our goals - our promise to our seniors for a posh (yet economical) wedding. Not only that, we would like everyone to meet AJ, the Ling’s and Lee’s latest generation.

Everyone was so excited with it and so everyone, cute ma, ah bui, Apollo and mom start getting their hands dirty planning the wedding. Our wedding was divided into different phases:

  • Area 1: funds (lead by Jimmy)
  • Area 2: AJ well-being (lead by me)
  • Area 3: main wedding reception (lead by cute ma)
  • Area 4: wedding photo (lead by Alice)
  • Area 5: groom well-being (lead by cute ma & ah bui)
  • Area 6: bride well-being (lead by cute ma & mom)
  • Area 7: wedding game (Sisters ‘Jie Mei’ lead by Hie Mee, Co Ing Ing)
  • Area 8: wedding game solver (Brothers ‘Hen dai’ lead by Teck Chuan, Co James & Siew Ung)
  • Area 9: cameraman for morning session (lead by Ong Chien Hui)
  • Area 10: wedding reception (lead by Ah Soon)
I was up since 5 am, aimlessly and sleepily taking a shower attempting to freshen-up myself after only had 3 hours sleep the night before. AJ was awake in the middle of the night and didn’t want to snooze until 2 hours later. Poor me. =.=

The hair stylist and make-up lady came around 6 something later ‘ridsecting’ (styling) my hair and make-up me face to a different person – Yiseh…not showing off but I saw myself as the most beautiful person I have seen in my life. Even AJ didn’t recognise me. He totally refused my cuddles for the first time in my life. ==”

Then the waiting game began, next games before the groom can meet his bride and son, finally respect bows to the elders.

finally...we finally met ... phew~~~
eh...shouldn't he be inseparable with me?

Next, lunch thanking the brothers & sisters for their effort in making the morning ceremony a success. I was able to rest a bit in the afternoon but everyone was so busy arranging the tables for the dinner. I stayed at home bathing AJ and get him to bed for afternoon nap. Thank God, Alice and Val was there to help or else I’ll be crying even before the wedding starts. Blessed.

3 hours before the dinner… the stylist and make-up lady arrived to change me to the most beautiful woman of the night. Combining with the dress I was so impressed with how beautiful I was turned into. Woot~~~ An ugly duckling just turned into a beautiful swan…wahahaha…Again, AJ refused my cuddles. ==”

It was so hectic, you can imagine! The tension out there was unbelieveable. We made a grand entry with big crowd applause. Fortunately, AJ was really well-behaved for the whole night. Good boy! How stupid I was in assuming that I could have a nice meal at the dinner. But we’re so busy that I only had a few spoons. I should have had a light meal before that! Silly me.

Many many many credits to those who has helped in turning this event to a success. With your help, we’d be in great mess. In no particular order:

  • cute ma
  • ah bui
  • apollo
  • mom
  • Alice
  • Jerome
  • Jeffrey
  • Ah Soon
  • David
  • Connie
  • Patrick
  • Elvis Wong Teck Chuan
  • Wong Siew Ung
  • James Ho
  • Rudolf, Val and parents
  • Ong Chieng Hui
  • Ching Heng Bing
  • Brenda Leong
  • Chieng Hie Mee
  • Adeline Huong
  • Ah Mas (Thomas Tan)
  • Ah Bui Hua
  • Ah Chow
  • Richard Tang
  • Ah Zai
The event was a great success! It was a great relief for all of us after the wedding. It’s a huge success for all of us. I saw everyone was so tired (pulling the tiring face) but with contented expressions. We even laughed at our stupid small mistakes, which is so great.

Well done, everyone!

I’m now officially married to Jimmy Ling S H. Girls, get your hands off my man or you’ll face the consequences. Hiak! Hiak! Hiak! Aim for his brothers neh~~~

    with tears...

I’m crying inside. In fact, the tears nearly come out. This is not a normal tears. This is happy tears. Proud! Pleased! I wasn’t there but the moment I heard about it, I can already feel that I was there. I do! It was like me seeing the unforgettable event. I can already imagine it. Whenever I recap that event in my mind, I know I’m so proud of him. So proud~~~

He is the one I am very proud of. The first day I saw him, I’m filled with full of surprises. Except when he’s not well. I laugh when he laughs. But when he cries, I’m so hurt. He was screaming and so happy whenever he tried to do that thing. Even though the attempts always failed after the first success, he’s craved a wide smile – satisfied. And he didn’t give up. He continues to do it again and again, of course when he feel it’s safe to do so.

Now I understand why every parent is so contented the moment their baby did their first walk unaided.

    UNAIDED!

    ON HIS OWN!

    INDEPENDENTLY!

    BY HIMSELF!

Yes! I’m so proud of my son.

Jimmy was picking him up at the nursery on Tuesday – the day he turned 1. Lovely birthday boy was so excited seeing his daddy that he screamed to his highest tone “aahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!”.

There was about 1 metre gap between him and his daddy. There he was standing and then moved his right leg to the front…..by himself! Left! Right! Then left! All four steps were independent! Both arms were open wide to get a huge hug from his daddy. Smiling from ear to ear.

Both the carer and Jimmy were so surprised. Karen, the carer, said they have been encouraging him to walk by himself but he just felt not secure. And amazingly, he did his first independent walk on his first birthday! Bravo! Bravo! Horray!

We were a bit worried at first because he just had his 12 months immunisation on Monday. I had a call from the nursery that morning and thought that he isn’t feeling very well. We thought he was upset due to the injection, only to know that the reason behind was because of hunger. He was back to himself – playing happily after lunch. Phew~~~ Touch wood! Choi Choi Choi Dai Kat Lai Shi…

And oh oh oh...here are two things AJ brought home with him today. Sweet, ain't it?

What he did on Tuesday was such a wonderful thing. Both Jimmy and I tried to do the same thing again when we reach home, he tried but failed. I know…I know…his legs are still not strong enough and he’s still learning to coordinate his walks. But I really can’t wait to see him walk by himself. I can’t wait to get him showing his biggest achievement so far in front of Jimmy’s and my family next Saturday.

Woot~~~ it’s going to be exciting!!!

Although, I’m a little upset for the reason that I wasn’t there myself…nah..I’m sure I will see it with my own eyes soon…soon… *wink*

I have already start packing things up since last weekend. There’re lots of things to bring back. My wedding dresses, CNY clothes, Jimmy’s wedding clothes, AJ’s milk, AJ’s CNY clothes, AJ’s wedding clothes, AJ’s medicine for emergencies, etc etc. It was like moving home!

But it’s so worth it. We’re looking forward to meet our families whom we haven’t met for more than 3 years and so are they. I believe everyone at home can’t wait to hold AJ.

I can’t wait to have a non-stop chat with Alice the moment we land our first step in Malaysia. Chat till the next morning if I’m not tired…wahaha…

I can’t wait to eat Malaysia food which I missed so much – kampua, cha mien, kolo mee, laksa, nasi lemak to name a few. Forget diet by the time I reach Malaysia but have to watch what I eat until the wedding day.

I can’t wait to taste me mom’s cooking. My fav – billin with egg and ginger, crab meat dish, black chicken with black fungus.

I can’t wait to crash me sis’s bedroom when I stayed over at my dad’s. Gonna steal one of her snoopy back to UK. *wide wicked grin* Muahaha….

I can’t wait to say Gong Xi Fa Cai to all the families & friends. And pai nian! Pai nian!

I can't wait to celebrate the first Chinese New Year with AJ and the rest of the family.

Ooooo Upsy Daisy….7 days to my holiday and counting….

    Still counting….

    Still is…

    Still…

    UK Tour 2008 – Day 1 (26-12-2008)

    I’m back…finally~~~

One word - tiringgggggggggggg. I’m all drained out. No no no…we were all drained out. Lotsa of things happenned. Both good & bad. You’ll know why I say that.

    Well, before I forget,

    Happy New Year!!!

There're 9 of us in this exciting adventure - 2 cars; Honda Civic Type S (whoosh! *support our own car, wahaha*) & Peugeot 307. With Captain Jimmy & Captain Rudolf & also with God's blessings, we're able to reach our destinations on target. Let me (Honda's cabin crew) guide you through our first day.

Right, our first stop is Bristol. It took us 2 hours and a bit. Without wasting much time, we went to Cribbs Causeway Mall straight away. What else…breakfast & shopping! Then, Cabot Circus in Bristol city centre…lunch & shopping again…haha…

We took photos as much as we could…

    Meet Val, Peugeot's cabin crew
    The passengers in Peugeot 307
    Peugeot leads the way
Honda leads - for 1 hour
AJ as the controller (playing with the walkie talkie)
Breakfast - Apple fran from Cribbs Causeway, very nice~~~
Then, Sushi at Yo Sushi! Doraemon's lunch!
The guys start stuffing themselves with the food
    and so do them
    them as well...
while AJ's sleeping soundly T__T took the pic myself while waiting for food
Prawn fried mee - me lunch! nice one
    Chicken curry - Jimmy's lunch
Seafood fried rice - Kok Fung's
    Sui~~~ Cabot circus
    inside view
    with the gigantic reindeer
nice mall - but it's an open mall, freezing cold T__T
finally, rest at Travelodge in outskirt of Bristol - AJ in good mood

I know...I know...you must be asking what's wrong with AJ's face? He had swollen eyes and dry skin on both cheeks. So, I had to clean his eyes every 2 hours, applied cream to his cheeks & stop him from rubbing his itchy eyes. According to the pharmacist, this was due to cold. T__T Thank God he recovered a few days later.

And oh oh oh...muahaha...I'm super happy. Thrilled! bought me wedding dress at a really good bargain. Got it at half price. Cool neh~~~ Unfortunately, I couldn't show you guys the dress yet. It can only be seen by peoples' eyes on the 30th.

    Woot~~~~ 20 days to my holiday....whoosh~~~~

    Ciao...xx
