The 2.5 weeks holiday stroke job hunting in KL

Renown to everybody yes time indeed flies quick la time waits for no woman la it's true the 2.5 weeks gone pretty fast and I am not denying the fact that I am pretty upset to leave KL tomorrow but also excited to visit the place where I grew up meeting my families soon the slow mo laid back life in Sarikei.

So for the past 2.5 weeks, we went to quite a number of places and had lots of food. Went to Times Square to have our hair cut, the Curve to meet my ex-coursemates, Sunway Lagoon, pasar malam in SS2, Sungei Wang, Low Yat Plaza, Genting, Jusco & Tesco in Cheras. Not to forget, we've been eating a lot of foods and because we're not burning them effectively, we have gained a lot of weights in just 2 weeks. Pretty shocking, isn't it?

While we are hard at enjoying ourselves here, I myself am also hard at hunting for jobs. I have been to interviews but still awaiting for responses. Why is it so hard to look for a position that I really want? Is it because I don't shine enough? Or am I requesting too much? or is it because I look ugly doesn't look like the person as mentioned in my CV?

I am pretty down now. Probably it's because I couldn't secure a job. I feel like I want to bump me head to the wall with the strongest moment and fell down and get to sleep or punching into the mirror breaking the mirror into pieces but I don't dare to do that as I don't want to end up with bandages then screaming for pain then having people looking pity at me then interviewers seeing me weird with the bandages wondering like I went to clubbing then got into fight with another pretty sexy lady trying to flirting with a handsome guy or I hurt myself by falling down the stairs or when I scold AJ with the cloth hanger or a belt =.= Ceh...sounds like I am an evil mother. Ridiculous!!!

I know it's just matter of time. I have to be patient and wait and see. I must wait!!!! NO MATTER WHAT!

Patience....

Patience...

Patience..

until when????? Sampai bila? 到什么时候? aiseh...my Chinese is still looking good. easy la...using malay --> english --> chinese translation on the web la...so freaking easy...haha...

haha...I'm good good....honestly. I am just being the usual complainant. I will be optimisic and I know the best has yet to come. Enjoying the long holiday and the food in Malaysia like I never had it before...Woohoo!!!

Anyway, I'm glad to meet you guys (in no particular order):

It's gonna be good to meet our families and friends soon....

The Bubble Spinner

The north-east-south-west blowing wind has surprisingly influencing us 4 lately including me being the most lousy player of any whatsoever game to play the facebook Bubble Spinner game. It started with Alice being the top champion then Mr Wong ages ago. As we're on holiday in KL at the moment and job hunting, hubby passed his overly long free time playing the bubble spinner.

After so many uncountable attempts & failures, he finally succeeded in being the top among our friends. and Alice felt being challenged pantang dicabar wor so she played the bubble spinner whenever she has her hands on the computer ignoring her usualself daily routine playing her second life in the Sims3. Still trying to beat her beloved brother highest score. LOL....

Bubble spinner - a bubble shooter with a fun twist works with the same concept as the tetris game. The goal is to prevent the balls reaching to the walls around it and the balls will be removed if 3 or more same colored balls are grouped together. Depending on the force from where you shoot the ball, the bubble spinner will be twisted either clockwise or anti-clockwise so that you can work around with the colors. You score points based on the number of balls you removed. Very interesting, aint it?

I wasn't interested until I tried it myself and I am myself is sort of addicted already even only on the first few attempts. You would go eeeeekkk screaming noooo when it's going to hit the wall or go oppps if your hit missed. haha

My current score is 274 currently which I consider good on the second attempt. and guess what, I have already beat one of my friend's score. teeheee..if you haven't try it before, you should give it a go...

Behold, everyone. I'm gonna catchup with you guys soon. Sooon.......I mean it so hard that I will play it every minute everyday 247 regardless how busy I right at the moment my eyes are open and before my eyes closes for at least 8 hours. as if I thaaaaattttttt free.... =.=

Meet the King of Fruits

It has been a while (loooooonnngggg time) since we last went to pasar malam (aka the night food festival). I guess it was about 7-8 years ago. We visited pasar malam yesterday at SS2 and the place was soooo crowded. They sell almost anything, food, jewelleries, bags, cakes and so forth at a bargained prices.

Of course, the guys didn't waste any time in getting their hands dirty on the king of fruits, Durian.

According to them, they bought the D24 durian aka the bestest Durian - from Pahang. Unlucky me didn't really enjoy the Durian or else I will be enjoying them myself too....wahaha.....not sure why but I would vomit whenever I taste it. Now the whole car, room and everyone's mouth except AJ and me are full of Durian smell. The smell gonna lasts for days I bet. Even chewing gum won't help. =.=

On a completeeely unrelated note, ever wonder how my beloved sis-in-law, Alice and Mr Wong sleep? Here's the answer of your puzzle.

Home sweet home...

Apologies everyone. I haven't been able to update you guys of my well-being so far even reassuring you guys that we've arrived to our homeland at last. Reason being we're busy doing the chores and settling here at the same time and I hardly touched Alice's computer.

Anyway, we're back home...woohoo

We were totally 200% exhausted...very very exhausted. We took the train on Thursday morning last week to go to London from Plymouth and it took us 5 hours to reach London. Fortunately AJ took his nap while in the train giving us some peaceful time. When he was up, he was nearly incontrollable for he, just like any other children of same age, loves to explore and go anywhere when he's mobile. Fortunately, it only happened when we nearly arrived at London.

We had a lot of luggages to bring with us. 2 too over huge to check-in then 3 by hand carry. Poor hubby had to carry the luggage by himself. Thankfully the Paddington station has the left luggage section allowing us to temporarily leave our luggages guarded at a small fee. Then we headed to the China town to feed our extremely desirious stomach. Misato, yes! I had my favorite, the pork ginger bento while hubby had his chicken bento. It's lovely as ever...aww....
with Teck Young at the Plymouth railway station. See you back in Malaysia, Teck Young!
in the train....singing to AJ
obviously he hates it. I have a lousy voice
then he suggested that I should be keep quiet =.=
the ocean view I always enjoyed when I travelled to London via train
some quiet time myself...ahhh
hubby playing nintendo game
AJ poking from behind
in the tube, he had to hold on to the train pole as well. =="
at the covent garden...AJ didn't look very pleased

Around 5-ish, we went to the airport using the Heathrow express, 15 minutes journey from London Paddington. Very convenient indeed especially when we have so many luggages with us. We checked in early with no complications but only to find out that our trouble started the moment we boarded into the plane.
T.G.I. Fridays in the Heathrow airport
hubby: don't piss with me mate
the only family photo in Heathrow

The plane was so packed and AJ was crying every few hours due to the over-small-size basinet he had to squeeze in sleeping like a prawn and he couldn't turn around freely he used to be on the bed. He was really tired, really uncomfy and sleepy but couldn't go to sleep so he only had a few hours sleep. I couldn't either T.T I think I only managed to sleep for about 3 hours in total. T.T

I was extremely relieved to find out that our plane landed early. The end of the torture. haih.....finally!!!

Anyway, it's good to be home at last but it's extremely HOT HOT HOT HOT here. No jokes. Really hot I tell you. We were sweating all over. AJ's only wearing singlet just nappy no pant during the day. But it's really good to be home at last with families (Mr Wong, Alice) & friends around in KL.

Home sweet home...at last

Last Wednesday in Plymouth

This is my last post for the "Last". 7 post in a row for a week. I felt quite OK to be honest but I need to be free enough to allocate time to blog. Sometimes I felt I have nothing to blog about. But anyway, I did it successfully on the account of I'm not working having some spare time to blog. Hope you're not too bored, everyone...

Hubby and I are soooo addicted with the Nintendo DS Brain Training game lately. We're competing against each other indirectly! and guess what? I managed to sharpen my brain into 28 years which is good while hubby deteriotes to 40. muahaha...but I think you have to be sharp to play the game in order to get good result. It's a good brain training though. I enjoyed the maths part & Sudoku. I can imagine that we'll be rowing over the DS in the plane tomorrow.

Yeap tonight is my last night in Plymouth. To be honest, I thought I would be settling here in Plymouth for good. It never came across to my mind that I’ll be moving back home. I first came here with hubby in 2003 as a student and I had to learn English from the beginning as the accent here is different. Now, not only 2 but 3 of us are moving back to Malaysia starting fresh.

Anyway, there’s one last thing I want to do before leaving UK. A delicious meal in Misato yum yum...the renowned Japanese restaurant in London China Town. The meals there are always very lovely and there are always long queues at peak hours. We would never miss it whenever we go to London. And we’re going to go there for a late lunch before heading to the airport tomorrow. Yipee!!!

Then to Convent Garden which I always missed at each London visits. I heard that it is famous with funny performances all day and I’m looking forward to watching it myself. with AJ and hubby.

T____T

Bye bye friends

Bye bye WMS

Bye bye Plymouth

Bye bye London

Bye bye England

I miss you all and hope to see you soon....

Malaysia here I come! Here we come. The new challenging risky yet exciting life begins...

First a long haul flight. T.T

Short & sad

Hubby driving Sporty for the last time
He's handsome, isn't he?

We truly deeply miss Sporty now. T.T We went to Somerset this morning to deliver Sporty to his new owner. In fact, I felt kinda emo from the moment we left him there. Because he had served us well good and bad every single there. Whenever we need him, he's just there, right in front of us ready to give his full support. A true gentleman.

But I'm sure he's in good hands. When we arrived at this new bloke's posh house, the bloke has already showed us the new set of 18" inch tyre which I believed he's going to get his hands dirty right after we left. Bless Sporty. He'll be a real~ Sporty soon. Lucky Sporty.

On our journey there, we saw something interesting.
At the services in the middle of the journey
We saw Proton services centre..awesome~~

Right then, back to yesterday. A very interesting day indeed. I just remembered that I had a Luna colour pencil which I bought it at Malaysia years ago =.= So, the clever me put them to use for...
painting...da da da...
dee dee dee...
ta-dah...

Then we went to Tesco & Matalan and we found something interesting
A-Ka-Za-Ka-Boom, I'm AJ Potter
woosh...woosh...
AJ, the pirate
love or life, you choose

and we bought home...
AJ's wellington boot - for use when he's in muddy area at the nursery
he look so cute in it
AJ loves it too. haha...

Happy day again

Another sunny day...hehe...and we're not going to miss this opportunity. Nope, not a chance. Definitely not after months being quarantined at home due to winter. We head to town in the morning for some shopping for...
AJ's new vests
Hubby's addidas clothes

and also hubby's jean! haha...let me show you in pictures why he finally decided to have a new jean
I tried to save the jean (look at the scar around the jean) but it can't survive from a powerful heart attack about 3 months ago...T.T
we did some surgery
whola...a new short sexy jean

The new jean he bought today is totally in different colour, dark indigo with some tone somemore. and oh oh oh, the coolest thing is the jean doesn't have a zip on it. Buttons to fasten up. I wonder how is he going to be able to un-button them when he's really in need...like it's gonna go in the next second. haha =.= Sorry no photo taken on the new jean yet because I forgot what. and it's kinda late when I'm doing this posting, so I can't be bothered to take a photo and going through the fussy procedure because I'm tired already. I want to finish this off quick so that I can off to bed soon.
A glance of me for no reason

Next, Wembury beach!
love the sea view. it's so lovely
and so as the water
AJ loves beach-ing as well

have to hug him for a proper photo =.=
a random pose from the guys. all with "seluar pendek" (shorts)
playing with the stones
Kok Fung caught a crab and wanted to show AJ but then he fell down =giving all his weight onto the crab and the shell broke. ==" Poor little crab
Then he said some prayers to the crab
I'm sorry, crab! Please forgive me. RIP!!! Don't find me tonight

got AJ a wind mill and he loves it when it's in full spin

The beach is so lovely and we didn't realised there's a lovely beach not far - just 15 minutes drive. If we knew that earlier, we would certainly go there with Alice or Gordon, Joline and Xavi.

Right, there's a video of AJ in the beach but as I said, I'm sleepy already. Will do it tomorrow if nothing comes up. Till then...
