Roach bites!

Ouch! I've been bitten...by a roach. At exactly 10 mins to 2 am this morning, I was woken by this extreme pain (needle pain) in my left skull. Gently brushing my hair with my sleeping left hand and NEVER would I thought to feel something awkward. It's not my hair! I quickly whisked it away without wasting any MILISECONDS in the dark because I KNOW IT'S NOT HAIR. It doesn't belong to part of me. NOT A THING! Quickly switched on the lights to find out what is that and I noticed a cockroach in my bolster.

It's a young teenage roach!

Roach!

A roach bit me head!

I've been sleeping here for the past 2 months and never did I came across needless to say of all the oxygen that I breathed for the 27 odd years I would ever ever ever know that COCKROACH BITES!

Why he bit? Why me? Why my head?

Was it be a revenge for his mother / father / brother / sister / cousin? I saw a cockroach in the living room before I went to bed few hours earlier so I killed it. Weird enough, I have also ensured that nothing could pass through the gap between the door and the floor. So basically I don't really know how he could get in just to avenge for his family?

Or was it from the smell of my hair that hasn't been washed for more than 24 hours? Oiii. Don't yuck me. Ask any girls around you and I'm pretty sure most girls would says they wash their hair every 2-3 days. I wash mine every alternate days. Depends on what activity, say I sweat too much or passed by smokey environment or oily cooking. Then I would wash it even I just had it yesterday. For hygiene purpose.

Thinking back, I tingled uncomfortably. Flashing back the incident everytime the pain indeed making my flesh my hair creeps. I couldn't sleep properly after just in case it would come back again. So I woke up every few hours to double check. Checked AJ is ok before I went back to sleep.

Thanks be to Lord that I'm still fine after the bite. Please God. Don't make this incident reoccur again.

Shoo roach....

Careful! Roach does bites.

Yuck!

What a bad experience!

The 2.5 weeks holiday stroke job hunting in KL

Renown to everybody yes time indeed flies quick la time waits for no woman la it's true the 2.5 weeks gone pretty fast and I am not denying the fact that I am pretty upset to leave KL tomorrow but also excited to visit the place where I grew up meeting my families soon the slow mo laid back life in Sarikei.

So for the past 2.5 weeks, we went to quite a number of places and had lots of food. Went to Times Square to have our hair cut, the Curve to meet my ex-coursemates, Sunway Lagoon, pasar malam in SS2, Sungei Wang, Low Yat Plaza, Genting, Jusco & Tesco in Cheras. Not to forget, we've been eating a lot of foods and because we're not burning them effectively, we have gained a lot of weights in just 2 weeks. Pretty shocking, isn't it?

While we are hard at enjoying ourselves here, I myself am also hard at hunting for jobs. I have been to interviews but still awaiting for responses. Why is it so hard to look for a position that I really want? Is it because I don't shine enough? Or am I requesting too much? or is it because I look ugly doesn't look like the person as mentioned in my CV?

I am pretty down now. Probably it's because I couldn't secure a job. I feel like I want to bump me head to the wall with the strongest moment and fell down and get to sleep or punching into the mirror breaking the mirror into pieces but I don't dare to do that as I don't want to end up with bandages then screaming for pain then having people looking pity at me then interviewers seeing me weird with the bandages wondering like I went to clubbing then got into fight with another pretty sexy lady trying to flirting with a handsome guy or I hurt myself by falling down the stairs or when I scold AJ with the cloth hanger or a belt =.= Ceh...sounds like I am an evil mother. Ridiculous!!!

I know it's just matter of time. I have to be patient and wait and see. I must wait!!!! NO MATTER WHAT!

Patience....

Patience...

Patience..

until when????? Sampai bila? 到什么时候? aiseh...my Chinese is still looking good. easy la...using malay --> english --> chinese translation on the web la...so freaking easy...haha...

haha...I'm good good....honestly. I am just being the usual complainant. I will be optimisic and I know the best has yet to come. Enjoying the long holiday and the food in Malaysia like I never had it before...Woohoo!!!

Anyway, I'm glad to meet you guys (in no particular order):
- Ong Chen Hui

- Rosverny Choo
- Brandon Choi
- Jason Lim
- Jaren Chia
- Ah Pong
- Trish
- Brandon Lim
- Felicia Chin
- Banned Ling
- Evonne Kong
- Brenda Leong
- Rudolf Ronald

Those I haven't met, don't be upset. I'm sure we'll meet again. I see you when I see you. Muacks...

Sarawak, here I come! Can't wait to have the Hiek Lik's kam pua, Ah Zheng's son's cha mien, Sarawak laksa and most of all, my dad's free ice cream. yum yum...we may be going to Sibu meeting my schoolfriend's son and to Kuching meeting some of my few friends over there. It's gonna be good to meet our families and friends soon....

We're still not sure where to settle down yet. Still deciding either KL / Sarawak. I know time will tell. Time will tell...and will update you guys when we have reach to our decision.

ok...back to the FB MindJolt Bubble Spinner / Sims 3

Chrome or IE?

Forget IE. It’s absolutely no doubt that you get quite a number of annoying errors with latest IE version. It’s either not responding or the takes its time to load the page *yawn*. Yes, I get annoyed too. Especially when there’s news about virus attacks into IE especially with the latest version IE8.

Then I came across with Google Chrome the other day. It’s not new but I can’t be bothered to change IE to Chrome. Reason being I have all bookmarks in IE and changing to a new web browser would mean I need to mange the links at two different places at two different time. I tried Mozilla Firefox as Firefox offers better security but again, Firefox manages bookmarks in a different location. Argh…why couldn’t they use the bookmarks from the same place and I can save a lot of time synchronising them?

I decided to give it a go on Chrome last weekend when we reformatted our pc and I couldn’t get the latest IE version because it requires validation on genuine windows =.=. So, I’m use the old IE version IE 6. Still some website requires latest IE to be fully operational ie Facebook. To my surprise, Chrome offers the most simplistic web browser I have ever seen and spacious even with user-friendly design. It's so simple like learning 1-2-3.

Unlike IE, Chrome loads the page really quick, like in 1 sec. Trust me. IE could take 1 minute even though we’re using the super fast 10 Mb broadband, ok, I don’t have the super fast broadband here but I’m using 2Mb here which is fast enough to load a page in less than a second using Chrome and I can’t understand what IE is doing at the background to just load a page. Sometimes it went non-responsive mode leaving me no choice but to close it down and a message saying window is busy bla bla bla do you want to continue? Of course I want to close it down because you’re wasting my time seeing the blank page and not responding at all even if I leave it running so why do I want to wait anyway?

The best example to show you is the blogger sites. Did you notice with IE, it’s taking some amount of time to load my blog main page with the side menu fully loaded? But it’s not with Chrome! It just loading 100% I repeat 100% so fast that I got so excited to scroll down to get updates from the other bloggers right at the next second!

Still, do use firefox to access into your internet banking or any sites which requires money related transaction for firefox offers better security than IE and not sure for Chrome since I’m still testing on Chrome. I wouldn’t risk accessing to money matter sites using Chrome yet!

Chrome. Chrome. Chrome. I love the Chrome name. Sounds so flashy yet royal. Somemore, it’s free! That’s the topmost important rule, don’t you agree? So, what are you waiting for? Google for Chrome!

p.s. 15 days left and counting...

How would you make the most of your wedding?

How would you have your wedding when you walked down the aisle to get blessings from the God? What songs? the slow mo walk and song and spending thousands on it on that day?

I was reading a news and I found this very funny but the best ever wedding video I have watched so far. It's indeed the happiest and most memorable wedding the couple will ever forget and indeed us the audience. I love it straight away and can't stop watching it. It's such a clever & most wicked idea. Bless the couple...and you know that in just a few days since the video uploaded, there has already been 3 million people watching it. You should watch it too.

Glosson's blog

Would you believe it if I say there is a blogger at just 11 years old. True enough. He's indeed just 11 year old boy. I didn't expect there is such a young boy would be interested to blog especially when you're just primary 11. However, this boy is brilliant - having to be able to memorise ABCs at just one year old is indeed one of the extraordinary. He is!

The interesting part is he gets to meet the PM and our first lady. Gosh! He's so lucky. I'll be over the moon after I get the chance. and now a poet even. Amazing, isn't he? He's really a talented young entrepeneuer. I'm sure his parents are extremely proud of him. His English is good as well.

I salute you, Gloson! Go and have a look at his blog. worth to read, guys http://www.glosonblog.com/

Credit Crunch

As recession hits everyone, us included as well. Well, it's not about work. It's hubby whom suddenly said "Let's do it!". He went to the kitchen straight away with the utensils and he started it with No.1 and I finished it off to make sure a satisfied outcome is delivered. No turning back.
Erm...this bring back some memory of a famous actor "San Kai" in Young and Dangerous HK movie.

I wonder if AJ will recognise him or not tomorrow now that his daddy has the same hair style as his.

Argh! When is this recession gonna end?

p.s. I have only worked 1 day in this week because of illness - fever, cold, cough. but rest assured it's not swine flu. phew~~~ I am getting better now thanks all the wishes.

Gotcha!

Gotcha. Gotcha. LOL…

We have noticed the mouse existences in our flat just recently. How? Its sh.t was all over the food reachable place – near the rice bucket or the bin. They are recognisable easy enough that you knew it instantly without the need to send it to DNA test. Funny enough, we didn’t had the mouse-in-the-house issue since we moved in. So, we thought that the scaffold outside may have been the reason behind they come in.

Hubby first met it on Saturday when he cooked Bovril noodles for his late supper at 2-ish am while AJ and me were dreaming of enjoying each other in the clouds, me chasing AJ and AJ running and laughing happily Teehee. I was woken up by a sudden thump! I though some sort of burglar broke in maybe?!?!?

Reach out for my glasses and wearing it quickly for I fear the worst could have become, I first checked that AJ is beside me. Checked! Blessed him, he was sleeping peacefully with his feet facing towards me. =.= Then hubby. Not checked! However, I’m somehow half-eased for I know the noise could be made by hubby instead of a careless burglar who may have stupidly dropped his stolen goods.

With curiosity inside half-woken-up me, I decided to go to the next room to check on him. He won’t normally make such a big noise in the middle of the night if he stayed up late. When our eyes met, he said “A mouse followed me from kitchen, want to eat my hot delicious Bovril noodles…and it’s hiding behind the cupboard.”

Me: “how big is it?” *shocking tone*
Hubby: “bigger a bit than the previous one we had from the previous flat. I bet he was following me into the room”
Me: “so how? Can we catch it?”
So, I went to the bathroom to get a pail we normally used to put our dirty clothes. Using that pail to catch the mouse. Ei…don’t laugh because we caught 2 mice before simply blocking him from running away and using a pail to trap them which we then drove to an outskirt area to let them go.

We tried to move the cupboard a little bit to get the mouse run away but it’s so determined not to move a single inch in a hidden area. We gave up not long afterwards because I was half awake, not alert enough compared to the watchful mouse. I went back to sleep, leaving hubby to continue to have his supper with half of his attention to check on the mouse scaring it might jump over to have the noodles. The mouse was patient enough to wait for the next 3 hours only to escape to the door and back to where it lives.

The next day, I quickly checked my rice making sure it did not leave its poisonous poo / wee on the rice. Fortunately I had the lid covering the rice and cleaned up the surface where its poo is visible. And hubby started to put some mouse trap and glue. We didn’t get anything on the first night, but I did hear a running escape noise when I entered the kitchen.

Last night, I would go into the kitchen to warm up AJ’s drink bottle as I would normally do before I go to bed, then I heard SQUIRKssss. I felt weird because normally a mouse doesn’t make noises a lot and always scrambles off when the lights are on. Hubby said, we might have got the mouse. We can’t be bothered to check it because we know the glue is strong enough to hold the mouse till the next morning unless the mouse is huge which is pointless if we checked it that time or it peels its skin off to get away also pointless anyway. The glue is quite sticky as AJ glued his fingers when he first found the clean sheet. He went =.=, then had to wash his hands afterwards.

And surprise surprise, I saw not just one but TWO! TWO!!!

The mice trapped in a piece of a mouse trap glue paper. Hubby screamed with joy and awake instantly from his bed as he had this lazyness and enjoyment to lie on the bed until the very last second gene run through his blood…inherited from cute ma. Then the toilet would be his first task after bed, take shower, breakfast, and run to get the bus to get to work – all in an hour. =.= Trust me Alice has the same gene. Not sure for their two younger brothers though because I didn’t spend a lot of time with them.

OK back to our achievement. So hubby woke up. Because they are still moving trying to free themselves from the sticky glue, hubby put another glue paper on their top to make sure they are totally immovable. So it became mice sandwich with two mice as the fillings. Hubby then put the sandwich into a container and filling the container with water. One mouse has bled itself a little bit. We think it might be another mouse who tried to save its friend or it moves too much that its skin peeled off itself. Ewww….my skin hair stands up as I am writing this post.

I would normally use the container for my weekday lunch (eg bread, cake), bring it at the office on Monday then back home on Thursday. Today, hubby handed over the container for me to bin it on my way to office, adding with a sentence, “Enjoy your lunch”. Ewww….My appetite went down immediately come to think of it. Yucks! Bye container, bye mice.

Anyway, they’re gone now for good. I didn’t expect that there are two so I think we might have some more around. As you know, they breed very quickly. So we will put a new sheet of mouse glue tonight, secure all the foods and close the kitchen door so that they won’t come to our rooms when we’re sleeping. Oh yea, they finished the bait – left over wedges we had from Domino.

Bravo! Bravo!

Hoorah! Hoorah!

Mama do uh oh uh oh

Move over, Lady Alice Gaga, Jimmy J Chow, Conny Lee Hom, Zatil Swift, Zura Spears, Mui mui Perry...I now proclaimed to you that I’m so into this young teenager. So I’m now the Marge P Lott. Marge P Lott. Marge P Lott. Marge P Lott. Haha...I love her voice to begin with. She’s sooo good when she sang the famous Apologise song and her debut song. In fact, I prefer her than Lily Allen or Leona Lewis. She’s set to be the next pop princess – I’m talking wayyyy better than Britney Spears.

Being a singer and songwriter all by herself and student at the same time at this young age – 18 no joke 18!!! is really awesome! Salute to her, honest! She also has her own looks so I’m looking good on her unless she ended up to be come like Amy Winehouse or Britney. Oh well...not going to that far now.

I love her debut song – mama do uh oh uh oh

And also What u do

And her acoustic versions....she indeed has a good voice...

She’s coming down to Plymouth at a joint concert with other singers on 1st July. And it does makes me wanna go too. If I’m going, this will be my first time I go to concert. But am still thinking whether I should go or not as I’m not like the other crazy fans who would go shouting, crying, flocking to the front just to get a real skin touch or fighting for his/her sweaty clothes. Yucks...I would be really happy if i could get an autograph from her personally on her album. Sound cool, right? In my dream neh neh...haha...

I think I would much prefer to listen to her music through radio or my computer. Save me lotsa of time and money. Still...am loving Pixie Lott now. Youtube to listen to the rest of her songs. I’m sure you’ll love them as much as I do.

Go Pixie! Go Pixie! Go Pixie! Woohooo!

***

Anyway on a complete unrelated note, I would like to share with you a shocking news today. I was listening to radio today and the news broadcaster went like this “A woman who works in a Plymouth nursery has been arrested yesterday for making and distributing child photonographic images. Images were found taken at where she works showing the nursery logo on her uniform.”

That’s when I was getting worried. Nursery? Which nursery? My heart went beating really really fast as you know AJ goes to nursery since he was 8 months old. What if a photo of his naked body was really taken without our consent and wer distributed to those filthy sex child abuser. God will only knows who has seen the images and what has been done with it. This is sooo utterly disgusting. I would be very very ver utterly flabbergasted as I totally put my trust on the nursery carer to take good care of AJ. They are just like second mother to AJ and AJ loves to go to nursery so much.

Rest assured it’s not a nursery that AJ went. Phew~~~ But my heart goes to those children whom had the images taken for the last 2 to 3 years. Now that the woman is arrested and has been charged for her offences, I’m hoping she will get a really long jail sentence for what she has done and deserves them what. Here’s the link to follow the news. Ptuik.

Smiley vs Cry-ley

^_^ Come & go: I know some of you may have noticed that my blog layout was changed a few days ago and is now changed back to its original-self. I didn’t like much of the new layout due to its broken links and I was kinda miss the old layout, so I decided to stick to the old layout for a while. Might change the background colour though. It’s too dark and dull I felt sometimes but mystery though. So, I might change to a bright colour in the next few days. Oh well…maybe not. Haha…Don’t know why I’m undecisive nowadays.

^_^ Record breaking: I didn’t listen to radio at work today! Shocking, right? I used to listen to radio everyday and I thought I might be going to be very sleepy in the afternoon but wasn’t afterall! Probably I was concentrating too much at my work. As long as I’m occupied with work, I can live without radio. Oh well...maybe I’ll go back to listening to radio again to keep me awake if it happens again. Again, undecisive. =.=

^_^ New routine: I should have blog-ed this last week but I couldn’t find a suitable time to do it as I was trying to get used with this new routine. It was a new routine for all 3 of us. As you know, Sporty left us about 3 weeks ago (I still miss Sporty T.T), we depend very heavily on our two legs now, leaving hubby walking, pushing the pushchair, sending AJ to Bambinos, his new nursery and having me to pick AJ up after walk. I love to get AJ after work which makes me counting the hours left at the office every single day. Funny enough, it does motivates me by completing my work within office hours and getting groceries done at my ½ hour lunch.

T.T New nursery: AJ was crying so poorly when he went to Bambinos on his first day. T.T I didn’t see him crying so I was OK but hubby went heartache and preparing to take the day off if AJ couldn’t settle in the nursery that day. He was still crying a bit the next few days as the place is fairly new for him and almost cried everytime he saw me outside the window after work. And I’m proudly to let you guys know that AJ is now fully adapted with the new nursery when hubby dropped him off this morning. Shedding not a single tears! Bravo! Bravo!

T.T Bon voyage, mate: Ruddy is leaving Plymouth tomorrow to London, off to Barcelona for a few days before going back to Malaysia until he sorted his stuff. It’s talking for maybe 2-3 months until we will see Ruddy next time. He planned to stay for the summer and Val to come over for a few months holiday. I couldn’t wait to see Val, to be honest. And kinda disappointed to the fact that Val won’t be here. Not sure when I’ll be meeting Val again soon. I miss you, Val! And Rudolf! I’m sure AJ will too. Rudolf is coming over again tomorrow for for a short chit chat before leaving for his long summer holiday. *jealous*

^_^ Hello, Samsung Tocco: Hubby bought a new phone yesterday. It’s a SAMSUNG TOCCO LITE. All touch screen except for accept call, reject call and back button. It’s so high tech. I like when the phone has 3 wallpaper which you could change at any time. So Cool~~~ Thanks to me, hubby finally bought it. His old Motorola is not working properly now. I went fuming everytime when I was to use his phone. The 0 keypad can’t be pressed at all! Actually, he was planning to look see look see at the phone store of what phone he really wants. As I know his stingy type, I am certain to make him buying the phone at the very same day and I did it by saying let’s see the phone first and feel it with our own hand. And he bought the Tocco one which I liked the most compared to LG Viewty, LG cookie and the other one which I can’t remember now. Not important though so why should I remember it! Haha *jealous*

4 smiles and 2 sad-ley. Not bad not bad. 2 jealous but extremely jealous with the last one. Make me hand itchy every now and then. Humph….

I was made known of this song by a mutual friend and am encouraging you guys to watch the view as well. I'm speechless at first. It's funny yet it proves everything of everything. I don't know if I should be proud or ashamed of it. But I felt more proud to be Malaysian... ^_^ It kinda cool, in fact. Cool in the way Malaysian has achieved.

Do you think if there is a SarikeiMali in the future? haha...

Beware! Swine Influenza Pandemic

Swine flu, be it from a pig or a human, as you may or may not aware that swine flu, like many other deadly-currently-incurable diseases for example SARS or JE, is spreading faster than we thought. Gosh, I finished it in one sentence.

I’m starting to get worried indeed and am very alerted with the outbreak everyday by plugging my ear into radio at work to get myself updated all the time, paying no attention to my colleagues conversations unless they are talking directly to me and of course doing my work at the same time :P - especially on any news related to this new virus. And again, one sentence, one full stop. =.=

There are already a few infected people who have been advised to stay at home for at least week, in other words QUARANTINE. A couple have been tested positive for Swine flu in Scotland. Another 12 year old girl has been confirmed with the same illness as well. :-( My heart goes to them. This reminds me of SARS. And with the statement from the health official that 40% of Britons could be infected if this pandemic continues till winter, is showing how serious the pandemic is and is at nerve-racking state.

The authorities also stated that no jab is currently available and effectively can cure this flu-like symptom. At least 6 months researches would be needed to get a first batch done which means thousands have been infected and died waiting for the jab. Oh! How “marvellous” is that? I am not blaming anyone here and there’s absolutely no one to be held responsible but I am really hoping this pandemic will be over soon – vanished from tomorrow or from the next minute! Next second! I demand you to be gone forever! Wish I have that mighty power!

Anyway, watch out everyone, especially the young ones, as swine flu is blind and still is spreading across the globe. Even cute ma called to ask if I have any clue about this today. Try not to go out unless it’s necessary. As you don’t know who you are meeting outside inhaling all those recycled air which others have breathed before. Also, hygiene is important.

CAUTIOUS: Some useful tips to know if you got it (advice given from Health Protection Agency to NHS doctors and nurses)
A person should be tested for swine flu if they fulfil any ONE of these three conditions:
  1. Have you got a fever with a temperature of over 39c (100f)?

  2. Have you got a flu-like illness with two or more of the following: Cough, runny nose, limb or joint pain, headache?

  3. Are there signs of another life-threatening illness suggesting of an infectious process?

  4. AND the following condition:
  5. Did the symptoms start within seven days of visiting Mexico or the U.S. states of California, Kansas, New York, Ohio or Texas?

If you do catch any of the symptoms above, what are you waiting for? Don’t hesitate! Just go! Go! Go to the hospital for a check-up straight away! You’ve got nothing to lose! Better be safe than sorry!

We are planning to go to Paris on this coming summer. Should we go with this epidemic spreading around so madly? Maybe not. But I wanna go to Paris…haih~~~~~ T___T

Take care.

Recycle your unused phone

Hello everyone!

Miss me a lot neh. haha....Sorry for leaving you guys with no news. As mentioned from previous post, we were away from Plymouth and totally no access to Internet. Just the 3 of us enjoyed every moments.

It was a short trip, unexpectedly raining but we missed not much. We arrived Plymouth on Sunday and spend some nice time with the Eh Gordon (greeting everyone with eh not names), beautiful Joline and cute Xavi.

Anyway, I got this when I checked email just now. wah..I'm so happy.

My old phone Nokia 6120 is not working anymore, thanks to AJ so lovingly throwing the phone to the ground while he's having his meal. Nokia 6680, previously owned by hubby, then gave away to Alice which she used a few years in Malaysia. She as well RIP not long after Alice brought her over to UK...obviously thanks to AJ again. =.=

Next, their destination is the bin of course. Not until I saw this promotion offered by Boots the Chemist. Trade in your unused phone for points. Get 300 boots points (1 point for 1p) for faulty mobile. I thought..wahh...then I could get 600 points equivalent to £6. Although it's not much but at least I can get something in return, right? No pain, no gain, mate. haha...

To my surprise, I didn't just get 600..but I got 4697 points. Nice~~~~ very nice~~~~ Now I could redeem those points on some nice goods for FREE. especially on AJ's stuff. AJ medicine's la, nappies la, wipes la, baby food la, la la la...la la la...la la la...haha...

Ok ok....I know I still owe you guys the summary of our Easter trip. Photos are coming soon. Promise!

I have only slept for 5 hours yesterday because we were chatting non stop with Gordon and Joline. Working in the office today was dreadfully long but luckily I have some projects to keep me busy & awake. T___T So am still recovering from inadequate rest. But it was all worth it! I am starting to miss the Hons T___T! Terribly~~~~

My name is Margaret

Have you ever ponder the meaning of your name? Any part of you name, be it just your Christian or Chinese (if you’re a Chinese). This reminds me a lot of what I have used to known for.

My first name (other than my surname) is Margaret. When I was younger, I really hate my name. I even asked my mom why my name is Margaret.

Why? Here’s why. I grew up in a town with most of the Chinese speaks fuchow. I don’t speak fuchow much but I can understand quite well. I aged 12 (primary 6) when a boy classmate didn’t call my name properly. He slurred it in fuchow PURPOSELY!

“Mar-gie-rei, have you finish your homework? Can I borrow it?”
“Mar-gie-rei, do you write down what was on the blackboard? I missed it”
“Mar-gie-rei, can I borrow your eraser?”
“Mar-gie-rei, can I borrow your dictionary?” haha…I was so stupid and don’t know why I bring a thick dictionary to school everyday. EVERYDAY! I walked to school carrying in with my hands because my school bag is full of textbooks. Luckily the school is literally just 5 minutes walk. Phew~~~~ I nearly forgot about this until hubby reminded me. He was my classmate!

"Mar-gie-rei"... "Mar-gie-rei"... "Mar-gie-rei"...

Translating Mar-gie-rei into English means the shyt of horse’s and chicken’s. So my name is The shyt of horse’s and chicken’s Lee XXXX XXXX (Chinese name), huh. T___T So upsetting, aint it? I was so upset, in fact depressed, when people call me that that I really wanted to change my name. I even blame my mother for choosing that name. and I hate fuchow people.

Some people couldn’t even spell or call my name properly. Margeret or Margerat or Mergaret, Margret. How fascinating is that?

To be honest when thinking back over what happened during my schools time, I was bullied indirectly. But then I didn’t really give much thought of it probably because I don't want to stress about it. All I want is to focus on my studies. And hey, it works. So there's not much sweet memories in schools.

Orite, where was I again? Right, my name....

Humm...the callings continued a few years later. And I realised it stopped when I ignored those who call me the aweful name. haha.....

Then as Internet become common as years passed by, I began searching the real meaning behind my name. It was mother-of-pearl. Wow! That's was so awesome. woot~~ even great, my name was called correctly and precisely with the correct tone for the first time by someone I forgot but I remembered it was in UK. haha...

Indeeeed, I'm now married to fuchow husband, I don't hate fuchow people anymore. Margaret is such a lovely name and I don't even care now when Hubby sometimes jokingly called me using the aweful slang. Between, I still remember who's that boy who so "creative" calling my name that way. Note that it's not hubby.

Oooo...AJ not just having a tooth. But two!!!! We found another one at the back. It's a big one. And thankfully, his apettite has gone back up. to his normal aptitie and I'm extremely delighted to see him back to himself again. He still has a little bit of coughing every now and then but indeed is getting better and better everyday.

Thanks for your prayer, guys~~~~ a big mwuarhhhhh to you all...

Mental Torment

On 3 separate occasions…

A How would you react to this? You came to office as per usual right? Then you’ve been called “politely” to attend your big boss office suddenly. This meeting doesn’t occur very often as you are a small potato here and once you’re shut the door behind you, you could see your boss was pulling stressing and unsympathetic face. Ooppps…there you go, a letter / a sentence from his mouth saying “I am truly deeply regret to say that we have to let you go”. Just like that. In seconds. They totally couldn’t keep you for whatever contribution you have made previously because if you’re clinging to them, they are heading towards a really dark deep dead-end hole ‘gaung’ (Malay – suddenly I can’t remember the word).

Choi! Choi! Choi! *Touch wood* No, it’s not me nor hubby. It’s our friend’s company. A close friend of ours sighed in deeeeeeeep relief when he is saved. We too! But we’re shocked as he told us the news. His company has sacked a number of co-workers (numbers not known) today. One of his colleagues who met hubby on hubby’s interview about 2 years ago is in the employee redundancy list. Shocking, aint it?

It’s just like you’re queueing waiting to be thrown into the hot fire incinerator. Or one of those many pigs waiting to be slaughtered. Or one of the many ants who work so hard to live on then suddenly a big thump (size 10 feet) behind.. On no any prior notice! Cruel~~~~

This is MENTAL TORTURE!!! Should I be happy that it’s not me or should I start worrying that I might be in the next list? But I’m grateful that my company is still quite stable, according to the bosses and I hope will be for as long as it can.

I’m really praying hard inside…praying hard….please don’t make us joining the crowds. Please let this credit crunch over….right this minute. Right NOW!!!! Pwwwweeeeaaaaaaaasssssseeeeeeeeeeeeee!

B You deserve it, Josef Fritzl! I hate you for what you have done to your own flesh and blood 100 times 100%. You’ll know what I am talking about if you follow this hot news. Every new-alert people know what you have done. You should be living in that hell, the you so-call-second-home for the rest of your life. Surviving on only the foods that are always low and expired – just like how you say you provide to Elisabeth and your children / grandchildren comfortably. How are you going to say to that? You are so ssssssiiiiiiiiiiiick yet you’re conscious with what you have been doing for the whole 24 years!!!!!

I was listening to the radio when the newsreader said Josef Fritzl has been given the life sentence in a mentally disturb centre. I was shouting with joy inside (I was at work, ok). You may think that I’m so cruel but I’m giving not a slightest commiseration to that born-to-rape monster. I even think that life imprisonment is too easy for this type of person. Enjoy your miserable days in your new ‘home’. Shame on you, Josef!

Honestly, I couldn’t believe how Elisabeth could survive 24 years in that cellar – the worst dungeon I must say. Let alone the children seeing with their own eyes how their father rape their mother. It’s life mental torture to all of them. Both physically and mentally for as long as they live.

My heart goes to her and her children. Now that they are free from the monster’s capture but losing 24 years of her youth to her father, spending the years of harsh rapes and deprivation in the dungeon, how is she going to lead her life normally? I think she has the will to live on only for the sake of her children. I am hoping she and her children can cope living normally (although it’s extremely difficult) with continuous support and care from the authorities. She is strong she has build up all this years and to be able to live on in the dungeon for 24 years, I respect your strong will. God be with you and your children all the time.

C I miss HOME especially when I couldn’t meet my family, touch them, speak to them physically or hug them. When I couldn’t say “ular peng satu, bang”, “kampua”, “cha mien satu” in the coffee shop. T__________T Right,I gonna make my own warm ular along with kampua this weekend. Yum yum...
