The Bubble Spinner

The north-east-south-west blowing wind has surprisingly influencing us 4 lately including me being the most lousy player of any whatsoever game to play the facebook Bubble Spinner game. It started with Alice being the top champion then Mr Wong ages ago. As we're on holiday in KL at the moment and job hunting, hubby passed his overly long free time playing the bubble spinner.

After so many uncountable attempts & failures, he finally succeeded in being the top among our friends. and Alice felt being challenged pantang dicabar wor so she played the bubble spinner whenever she has her hands on the computer ignoring her usualself daily routine playing her second life in the Sims3. Still trying to beat her beloved brother highest score. LOL....

Bubble spinner - a bubble shooter with a fun twist works with the same concept as the tetris game. The goal is to prevent the balls reaching to the walls around it and the balls will be removed if 3 or more same colored balls are grouped together. Depending on the force from where you shoot the ball, the bubble spinner will be twisted either clockwise or anti-clockwise so that you can work around with the colors. You score points based on the number of balls you removed. Very interesting, aint it?

I wasn't interested until I tried it myself and I am myself is sort of addicted already even only on the first few attempts. You would go eeeeekkk screaming noooo when it's going to hit the wall or go oppps if your hit missed. haha

My current score is 274 currently which I consider good on the second attempt. and guess what, I have already beat one of my friend's score. teeheee..if you haven't try it before, you should give it a go...

Behold, everyone. I'm gonna catchup with you guys soon. Sooon.......I mean it so hard that I will play it every minute everyday 247 regardless how busy I right at the moment my eyes are open and before my eyes closes for at least 8 hours. as if I thaaaaattttttt free.... =.=

The Proposals

I have watched the proposals movie last week casted by Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds and I certainly recommending this to you all. It's not because the my name Margaret (woohoo) is used in the movie. I love Sandra Bullock's movies.

Read the full synopsis:
When high-powered book editor Margaret Tate (Sandra Bullock) faces deportation to her native Canada, the quick-thinking exec declares that she's actually engaged to her unsuspecting put-upon assistant Andrew Paxton (Ryan Reynolds), who she's tormented for years. He agrees to participate in the charade, but with a few conditions of his own. The unlikely couple heads to Alaska to meet his quirky family and the always-in-control city girl finds herself in one comedic fish-out-of-water situation after another. With an impromptu wedding in the works and an immigration official on their tails, Margaret and Andrew reluctantly vow to stick to the plan despite the precarious consequences.

I was laughing all the way through. Personally, I love most where they organise a hen's night before the wedding. It was so funny you know especially on what the bloke did to Margaret. You should definitely watch it too. No, actually I love everything that happened at their weekend visit to Andrew's hometown. Don't miss it, guys.

Chrome or IE?

Forget IE. It’s absolutely no doubt that you get quite a number of annoying errors with latest IE version. It’s either not responding or the takes its time to load the page *yawn*. Yes, I get annoyed too. Especially when there’s news about virus attacks into IE especially with the latest version IE8.

Then I came across with Google Chrome the other day. It’s not new but I can’t be bothered to change IE to Chrome. Reason being I have all bookmarks in IE and changing to a new web browser would mean I need to mange the links at two different places at two different time. I tried Mozilla Firefox as Firefox offers better security but again, Firefox manages bookmarks in a different location. Argh…why couldn’t they use the bookmarks from the same place and I can save a lot of time synchronising them?

I decided to give it a go on Chrome last weekend when we reformatted our pc and I couldn’t get the latest IE version because it requires validation on genuine windows =.=. So, I’m use the old IE version IE 6. Still some website requires latest IE to be fully operational ie Facebook. To my surprise, Chrome offers the most simplistic web browser I have ever seen and spacious even with user-friendly design. It's so simple like learning 1-2-3.

Unlike IE, Chrome loads the page really quick, like in 1 sec. Trust me. IE could take 1 minute even though we’re using the super fast 10 Mb broadband, ok, I don’t have the super fast broadband here but I’m using 2Mb here which is fast enough to load a page in less than a second using Chrome and I can’t understand what IE is doing at the background to just load a page. Sometimes it went non-responsive mode leaving me no choice but to close it down and a message saying window is busy bla bla bla do you want to continue? Of course I want to close it down because you’re wasting my time seeing the blank page and not responding at all even if I leave it running so why do I want to wait anyway?

The best example to show you is the blogger sites. Did you notice with IE, it’s taking some amount of time to load my blog main page with the side menu fully loaded? But it’s not with Chrome! It just loading 100% I repeat 100% so fast that I got so excited to scroll down to get updates from the other bloggers right at the next second!

Still, do use firefox to access into your internet banking or any sites which requires money related transaction for firefox offers better security than IE and not sure for Chrome since I’m still testing on Chrome. I wouldn’t risk accessing to money matter sites using Chrome yet!

Chrome. Chrome. Chrome. I love the Chrome name. Sounds so flashy yet royal. Somemore, it’s free! That’s the topmost important rule, don’t you agree? So, what are you waiting for? Google for Chrome!

Yoplait Petits Filous

Needless to say, calcium is one of the essentials minerals for growing up babies and children. Every babies and young children (no exception) loves yogurt. I don’t know why but it’s very addicting. I love it myself as well too but as mentioned from previous post, I love muller yogurt more more. Oh my, these food manufacturers are doing brilliant jobs, aren’t they? – the taste are just so delicious and loveable.

Yoplait Petits Filous (aka Little Rascals in French) is one of AJ’s favourite yogurt. I can tell you that his appetite would go up the moment he sees yogurt. He wouldn’t take his hands off from it until he sees the empty pot. Cheeky eh. I only allow two yogurts per day though ok maybe extra one if he finished his meal beforehand. No harm but I am limiting so that I can give him other food at the same time.

True enough, babies as young as 4 months can be introduced to this high-calcium-best-for-bones yogurts. However, I personally don’t recommend this until 6 months or later. There’s no hurry to wean your young one for milk is always the best meals for babies. Plus, the organs may not be ready to digest the yogurt. So, do continue to nurse your baby with breast milk exclusively as much as you can, otherwise formula milk.

I have only started introducing AJ the yogurt at about 1 year old. He first took it well in the nursery so I continue with the same routine he has at nursery days at home. Now it’s his favourite and a must have every day! His favourites are strawberry or raspberry.

There’re a lot of yogurts out in the store but I didn’t know this bestest one until recommendation from my friend. Thanks, Joline! There’re lots more children’s yogurt out in the store for different ages and you should give it a go! I guarantee your babies will love them too.

Now I'm a bit worry if I could find a similar one when we move back to Malaysia. *thumb-rolling*

Heinz baked beans with pork sausages

It’s very normal when moms get frustrated in preparing meals that looks tasty for kids and full of nutritions. I’m no exception. Because AJ is still learning the proper way to chew the food properly, I always make sure that the food he consumes is easy to digest, soft but not too soft to allow him to taste the different textures of the food in his mouth before swallowing them. Therefore, I always allow more water so that the boiled rice is soft & easy to chew while keeping the texture. Same goes to vegetables, cut them into small chunks to mix with the rice. It’s quite annoying when it comes to meat for its stiff texture and takes a longer time of chewing for easy digestion.

When AJ starts weaning, he skipped the porridge part. He hates the porridge so much that he would rather not eating it. So he jumped straight from milk to cereal then to rice. Strange, he hates the meat too. He would start complaining because of the hard surfaces and refusing to swallow it. True enough I am worried because he’s not getting the required nutrition from the meat substance.

Then one day a friend of mine, mom of two, introduced a high substance of proteins soft enough to be baby’s daily weaning meals. Baked beans with pork sausages by Heinz food company. And AJ fell in love straight away! Rich in tomato sauce, obviously good source of protein – just as the one I’m looking for.

I tried not to use it every day for you know children have demands over food. Children around the same age as AJ love to explore more and if he starts complaining over having the same taste every day, that’s not strange. Fortunately, AJ took it well and thanks to my friend he now is accepting meaty meals.

Meat mince is a another good choice and I choose turkey mince over the other meat mince. Turkey mince is softer yet tastier compared to pork or beef mince. Sometimes, chicken or pork cooked with added sugar for softer texture and cut into smaller chunks. Not too forget, fish!

Moms, you definitely should give it a try. I wonder if I can get this when I moved back. *finger-crossed*

Glosson's blog

Would you believe it if I say there is a blogger at just 11 years old. True enough. He's indeed just 11 year old boy. I didn't expect there is such a young boy would be interested to blog especially when you're just primary 11. However, this boy is brilliant - having to be able to memorise ABCs at just one year old is indeed one of the extraordinary. He is!

The interesting part is he gets to meet the PM and our first lady. Gosh! He's so lucky. I'll be over the moon after I get the chance. and now a poet even. Amazing, isn't he? He's really a talented young entrepeneuer. I'm sure his parents are extremely proud of him. His English is good as well.

I salute you, Gloson! Go and have a look at his blog. worth to read, guys http://www.glosonblog.com/

Muller corner - vanilla choco balls...yum!

One of the things that I'll missed the most if I am to live in a place without it will be...
The muller corner with vanilla choco balls flavor - my favorite

There're a lot flavors in the market, blueberry, choco flakes, strawberry cakes, muller rice (which I don't like), low-fat muller, etc. It's so delicious that you'll get addicted without you knowing it at all. The packaging is also unique to ensure that you'll taste the crunchiness of the choco balls straight away in your tounge when they're mixed with the yogurt. Imagine that yogurt plus the choco balls, sweet + sour + chocolatey + creamy + crunchy + yum yum. Mmmmmm~~~~
The yogurt and choco balls separated. Waiting to be mixed
one thing I just realised this trick recently (learnt from my colleague). The packaging is designed for you to fold the choco balls side to fill into the yogurt. Quick, easy and neat. That's a good trick
Mix...Mix...Mix...
into my mouth...
yum yum....tee hee...

Not to forget, fatty too. So, eat with care.

Mama do uh oh uh oh

Move over, Lady Alice Gaga, Jimmy J Chow, Conny Lee Hom, Zatil Swift, Zura Spears, Mui mui Perry...I now proclaimed to you that I’m so into this young teenager. So I’m now the Marge P Lott. Marge P Lott. Marge P Lott. Marge P Lott. Haha...I love her voice to begin with. She’s sooo good when she sang the famous Apologise song and her debut song. In fact, I prefer her than Lily Allen or Leona Lewis. She’s set to be the next pop princess – I’m talking wayyyy better than Britney Spears.

Being a singer and songwriter all by herself and student at the same time at this young age – 18 no joke 18!!! is really awesome! Salute to her, honest! She also has her own looks so I’m looking good on her unless she ended up to be come like Amy Winehouse or Britney. Oh well...not going to that far now.

I love her debut song – mama do uh oh uh oh

And also What u do

And her acoustic versions....she indeed has a good voice...

She’s coming down to Plymouth at a joint concert with other singers on 1st July. And it does makes me wanna go too. If I’m going, this will be my first time I go to concert. But am still thinking whether I should go or not as I’m not like the other crazy fans who would go shouting, crying, flocking to the front just to get a real skin touch or fighting for his/her sweaty clothes. Yucks...I would be really happy if i could get an autograph from her personally on her album. Sound cool, right? In my dream neh neh...haha...

I think I would much prefer to listen to her music through radio or my computer. Save me lotsa of time and money. Still...am loving Pixie Lott now. Youtube to listen to the rest of her songs. I’m sure you’ll love them as much as I do.

Go Pixie! Go Pixie! Go Pixie! Woohooo!

***

Anyway on a complete unrelated note, I would like to share with you a shocking news today. I was listening to radio today and the news broadcaster went like this “A woman who works in a Plymouth nursery has been arrested yesterday for making and distributing child photonographic images. Images were found taken at where she works showing the nursery logo on her uniform.”

That’s when I was getting worried. Nursery? Which nursery? My heart went beating really really fast as you know AJ goes to nursery since he was 8 months old. What if a photo of his naked body was really taken without our consent and wer distributed to those filthy sex child abuser. God will only knows who has seen the images and what has been done with it. This is sooo utterly disgusting. I would be very very ver utterly flabbergasted as I totally put my trust on the nursery carer to take good care of AJ. They are just like second mother to AJ and AJ loves to go to nursery so much.

Rest assured it’s not a nursery that AJ went. Phew~~~ But my heart goes to those children whom had the images taken for the last 2 to 3 years. Now that the woman is arrested and has been charged for her offences, I’m hoping she will get a really long jail sentence for what she has done and deserves them what. Here’s the link to follow the news. Ptuik.

Quick update

While most Chinese over the world having dumplings to celebrate this festive day, I went to work, so did hubby and AJ. We didn't know today it is the day until I've received wishes from my friends. Thanks to them..haha...We didn't have any dumplings either. T.T Not to worry...

At the meantime, today is the last day AJ goes to Kings nursery. He's changing to a new nursery nearer to where we live. The change is necessary for better mobility as we have sold our car about two weeks ago. It is also the last day Rudy sent and get AJ to the day care. Thanks Rudy for his huge help.

To be honest, I think AJ will missed the nursery. I've starting to miss it myself already. He really enjoyed his time there from just looking at the photos and learnt a lot from there too. He's going to a new nursery - Bambinos starting on Monday with hubby sending him off in the morning and me picking him up at the evening. Woot! can't wait...

He'll having a few hours settling in session tomorrow and I'm hoping that he'll be doing fine. Expect some tears from him. Can't escape! *wishing he won't though

Speaking of tomorrow. 3 years tomorrow. excatly 3 years I've since worked with my company. Gosh...time flies quick. Hubby is using bus to reach his office from tomorrow. Poor him has to wake up earlier as he has to walk for about 15 mins to the bus stop. A good exercise for him though.

I know this may not be new to you guys but I just watched the oscar award winning movie - the Slumdog millionaire. In short, I enjoyed it. Probably because I myself is a fan of Hindi movies. Weird, huh! I used to spend my afternoon watching TV Hindi movies and I'm a fan of Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai, Kareena Kapoor, Amitabh Bachan.

Right, back to the movie. I love the youngest Salim. He's so cute and I can't believed he actually jumped down through the toilet hole into a pool of dirty smelly shitty just to get an autograph from Amitabh Bachan. That's so unbelieveable. Salim is not clever nor educated but the life he had since childhood had earn him the winner in the who wants to be a millionaire Hindi version. He went through a really cruel and tough life but I'm satisfied with the happy ending. If you haven't watch it, you should watched it.

Guess what! I scaled myself today and was shocked to know that I've gained 3 kg threeeee kg since my holiday. I know I've talked about going back to the diet regime but I didn't managed to stop my cravings. No one to blame in this case as this is all my fault. But I'm blaming on my nosy hands and mouth with the persuasion from my brain. So, I'm now on strict diet. No more ice-cream, less meaty, lotsa vege & fruits even though I'm so sick with them. But will have ice-cream once or twice a month to pamper myself at this summer before it ends around August/September. I'm soooooooooooooooo serioussssssssssssss!!!!!

Weather forecastor predicts that it's going to be a lovely sunny weekend so I can't wait to enjoy the lovely weekend. No definite plan though. Most probably case would be a visit to Aj's playground, to the town for some walk...etc etc....

Ipoh Mali

I was made known of this song by a mutual friend and am encouraging you guys to watch the view as well. I'm speechless at first. It's funny yet it proves everything of everything. I don't know if I should be proud or ashamed of it. But I felt more proud to be Malaysian... ^_^ It kinda cool, in fact. Cool in the way Malaysian has achieved.

Do you think if there is a SarikeiMali in the future? haha...

Recycle your unused phone

Hello everyone!

Miss me a lot neh. haha....Sorry for leaving you guys with no news. As mentioned from previous post, we were away from Plymouth and totally no access to Internet. Just the 3 of us enjoyed every moments.

It was a short trip, unexpectedly raining but we missed not much. We arrived Plymouth on Sunday and spend some nice time with the Eh Gordon (greeting everyone with eh not names), beautiful Joline and cute Xavi.

Anyway, I got this when I checked email just now. wah..I'm so happy.

My old phone Nokia 6120 is not working anymore, thanks to AJ so lovingly throwing the phone to the ground while he's having his meal. Nokia 6680, previously owned by hubby, then gave away to Alice which she used a few years in Malaysia. She as well RIP not long after Alice brought her over to UK...obviously thanks to AJ again. =.=

Next, their destination is the bin of course. Not until I saw this promotion offered by Boots the Chemist. Trade in your unused phone for points. Get 300 boots points (1 point for 1p) for faulty mobile. I thought..wahh...then I could get 600 points equivalent to £6. Although it's not much but at least I can get something in return, right? No pain, no gain, mate. haha...

To my surprise, I didn't just get 600..but I got 4697 points. Nice~~~~ very nice~~~~ Now I could redeem those points on some nice goods for FREE. especially on AJ's stuff. AJ medicine's la, nappies la, wipes la, baby food la, la la la...la la la...la la la...haha...

Ok ok....I know I still owe you guys the summary of our Easter trip. Photos are coming soon. Promise!

I have only slept for 5 hours yesterday because we were chatting non stop with Gordon and Joline. Working in the office today was dreadfully long but luckily I have some projects to keep me busy & awake. T___T So am still recovering from inadequate rest. But it was all worth it! I am starting to miss the Hons T___T! Terribly~~~~
